Description

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for professional services provider experienced in threatened species management and/or environmental management to undertake a review of the Threatened Species Program bridled nailtail wallaby recovery program.

Bridled nailtail wallabies in the wild are restricted to two locations in Queensland:

• Taunton National Park, central Queensland (area of occupancy: 4 km²) - the only remaining natural subpopulation
• Avocet Nature Refuge, central Queensland (area of occupancy: 2 km²) - reintroduced subpopulation
