Development and provision of multimedia services associated with VET learning and teaching resources for TAFE Queensland

TAFE Queensland has identified priority resource development service categories.

Successful Offerors will be responsible for the delivery of learning and teaching resources which comply with TAFE Queensland requirements, including the source files in a specified and accessible format as determined on a project by project basis.

Individual projects may vary from single product development, to services including suites of learning resources comprising a range of deliverables, for delivery across metropolitan and regional areas.

The Key Personnel will need to be experts in the service categories they nominate to provide, and possess significant knowledge/experience in resource development. This relies on their having the appropriate skills and specialised knowledge to deliver the required learning and teaching resources to meet TAFE Queensland’s high standards of quality.

Resource development services will vary in interactivity, form, information, packaging, deliverables, compliance requirements and implementation strategies through to validation and review.

Resource development service categories under this Arrangement are:

• Animations.
• E-learning, specifically strategies for engaging and retaining learners to enable completion of qualifications, the implementation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 levels AA and levels AAA), and the application of social media technologies to support learning.
• E-Magazines.
• DVDs, CDs and portable/transferable learning resources.
• Apps, games, simulated and virtual environments.
• Online courses, MOOCs, interactive elements.
