Provision of a Post Release Employment Service Advance2Work to Queensland Corrective Services

The Queensland Corrective Services is seeking to establish an arrangement of supply for the provision of the delivery of an Employment Assistance Service for Prisoners Post-Release (the Program). The Program is an initiative of the Queensland Government through the Department of Community Safety (Queensland Corrective Services) and the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI). The Program will fund organisations to provide assistance to prisoners up to six months prior to release and to assist ex-prisoners who have recently been released from prison to find and maintain employment and or undertake additional vocational education and training (VET) to enable participants to gain employment skills. This service will be delivered at the following regional locations – South- East Queensland, Maryborough and Rockhampton (Capricornia), Townsville and Cairns.
