ALCAM (Australian Level Crossing Assessment Model) Assessors for Regional Network

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of QRP-23-103 - ALCAM (Australian Level Crossing Assessment Model) Assessors for Regional Network

Queensland Rail is an accredited Rail Infrastructure Manager (RIM) and Rolling Stock Operator (RSO) with the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR). Queensland Rail has obligations under the Rail Safety National Law (RSNL) and their Safety and Environment Management System to manage interfaces at level crossings safely on Regional owned assets.

The Regional business has a functional risk to manage rail traffic collisions at level crossings. This scope of work will assist the business in completing ALCAM (Australian Level Crossing Assessment Model) assessments for over 2000 level crossings. Queensland Rail is seeking a qualified, competent ALCAM assessor/s to attend on-site to undertake measurements for nominated level crossings for the purposes of completing and entering ALCAM assessments in the National Level Crossing (LXM) database.
