AMSA is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake a review of Australia's National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances ("the National Plan") and the National Maritime Emergency Response Arrangements ("NMERA") which includes emergency towage capability.

The purpose is to determine if current arrangements are adequate to provide an effective response to marine casualities and pollution of the sea by oil and hazardous and noxious substances.
