Description

The Department of Agriculture and Food’s requirement for the provision of Project Management of Drilling, Test Pumping and Ancillary Services as a means for DAFWA to extend the NGR as part of the Gascoyne Food Bowl project.
The successful Respondent is required to:
• Assist in the tender documentation by generating three separate scope of works/specification documents containing technical requirements;
• Provide technical advice to the DAFWA panel during the evaluation to engage drilling, test pumping and ancillary services contractors;
• Process data to assist drill site selection;
• Supervise the drilling operations including HSE requirements;
• Geologically and geophysically log the bores;
• Generate bore logs compiled in a bore completion report; and
• Generate a H3 hydrogeological report to support application for a groundwater allocation.
Works are anticipated to begin as soon as practicable as the project has already experienced significant setbacks and as a Royalties for Regions funded project, the Ministerial Committee (Agriculture, Water and Regional Development) is keen to see some progress given the shortage of water the Carnarvon district/industry now faces.
