Description
Expressions of Interest are being called for the provision of livestock and wildlife disease surveillance and emergency animal disease investigation services in Tasmania. Specifically, the following services are required: Monthly reporting of farm visits for the purpose of inspecting or examining livestock and the disease syndromes observed on the visits, wildlife consultations and any other cases of interest or disease trends in specified geographic area; Endemic and emergency animal disease investigation capability to be available at the request of the Chief Veterinary Officer; and Availability for training as prescribed by the Chief Veterinary Officer. The services will be provided under a contract for services with veterinary practices. the services under the contract will be provided by suitably qualified veterinarians.
