Security Guarding at ABS House

The ABS requires protective security guarding services from an industry recognised and accredited security service provider to ensure the protection of ABS people, information and infrastructure that includes (but is not limited to):
(a) staff, clients, visitors, service providers and consultants;
(b) information; and
(c) property and equipment.
The Service Provider must hold and keep current for the term of the contract a Master Licence under the ACT Security Industry Act 2003.
ABS Guarding Requirements for CO
Security guards must hold a current ACT Security Licence, sub class Patrol, Guard or Watch Property or equivalent and must hold and maintain a national security clearance from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA), to a minimum of BASELINE.
The Service Provider is to supply following services at the ABS CO site:
(a) Guarding Services 24hours x 7 days; (1Guard, Level 4 skills according to Security Services Industry Award 2010, Schedule A : Classifications)
(b) Escort Guard 16:00 to 21:00 on normal business days (1 Guard, Level 3 skills according to Security Services Industry Award 2010, Schedule A : Classifications)
(c) Ad hoc guarding and reception services
