Provision of a Research Governance Service Solution for Research Development Unit Including Development, Installation, Configuration, Data Migration, Implementation, Maintenance and Ongoing Support

The Department of Health is seeking a sustainable Research Governance Service (RGS) IT solution within WA Health for research governance management. The solution will include the development, installation, configuration, data migration, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support of the RGS.
The IT system must be available to investigators and research support personnel within WA Health and nationally, and WA Health research governance (including ethics) personnel and Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs) and subcommittees. The IT system must incorporate 2 systems:
• a Research Governance Portal, which provides access for external users (investigators and research stakeholders) to research governance applications and allows them to track their workflow progress ; and
• a research governance administration workflow, which allows research governance and ethics administrators and HRECs to administer research governance applications (online forms submitted), HREC meetings and provide reporting to WA Health and national bodies as required.
