The Department has a critical need to secure funding for a single Unified Regulation System (URS) as a replacement for its legacy liquor licensing and gaming and racing systems.
These systems have been in an essential maintenance mode for the last five to six years. Consequently, the systems are inflexible, misaligned with current business needs, and have exceeded their planned lifespan.
