Road Construction - Baden Powell Camp Ground
DEC is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the construction of a sealed access road and two compacted gravel roads forming two camping loops, including drainage, as per detailed engineers plans and specifications attached. The road corridors have been cleared by DEC.
Contractors will also be required to:
• Comply with environmental management regulations during construction ie. management of waste including contaminants from machinery and site rubbish.
• All machinery and equipment must be free of soil and vegetative matter on arrival to the construction site, to reduce the risk of weed and plant disease introduction.
• Construction site to be maintained to workplace health and safety legislative guidelines, including the management of the public access to the construction site.
