Description
The aim of this project is to provide a contemporary integrated test facility capable of supporting multiple research programs at DSTO Fishermans Bend. The Works generally comprise the following elements:
- Demolition of buildings 42 and 43;
- Construction of a New Built Test Facility;
- Removal of the Red-flowering Gum adjacent to building 43;
- Demolition of the gantry support and redundant pipe work and relocation of the compressed air pipe under the road way to the required location;
- Full Replacement of the Air Processing Plant (APP);
- Adaptive Reuse of Existing Building 40 as the APP Control Room;
- Construction of a New Enclosure for the APP; and
- Relocation of the Liquid Nitrogen Tank and overhead services running through the Site.
