Clincial Quality Register for High Risk Breast Devices

The national Register is to contain clearly defined sets of health and demographic information, for example, the identity of the patient, the provider, the device and the date received by the patient. The Register will directly inform the Therapeutic Goods Administration and the Department by providing progressive reporting on the long term performance of the devices. This will also enhance patient safety and the ability of health care providers and industry to respond to safety concerns.
