DSC0302018 Employee Assistance Program Services

The Department of Communities (Communities) requires the supply/provision of professional psychological and counselling services to Communities employees and their immediate families as required under its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) covering the Perth Metro and WA Regional areas.

The counselling service must be able to address and support the significant levels of trauma experienced by Communities frontline employees, with a focus on effective provision of child safety and family support services, disability and Housing support services to remote and regional areas of Western Australia. This work has a high level of complexity and intensity and can be highly challenging and demanding.

Respondents are advised that the services will be required on an ad-hoc basis and there is no guarantee of any work during the contract term.

A Panel of suitable providers may be established however it is preferable that recommended providers be able to provide the services on a state-wide basis.
