Supply of Performance Health Practitioner Services (Physiotherapy) - ParaSports

QAS is looking for TWO experienced Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist to work in Para Sports. Applicants must have minimum 5 years experience working as a physiotherapist, as well as some relevant experience working with Para athlete populations.

• Contract 1: ParaSports (TSP Program) – 5 days per week

Based in Brisbane, this role requires the provision of Physiotherapy to both categorized and non-categorized para athletes across a broad range of para sports. Work will be conducted from both QSAC Nathan and Chandler facilities. You will also be responsible for contribution to the development of strategies to support exceptional High-Performance outcomes for Para sport athletes.

• Contract 2: ParaSports (Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, Para-Archery) – 4 days per week

Based in Brisbane, this role requires the provision of Physiotherapy to categorized para athletes including podium and developing and emerging athletes. Work will be conducted from both QSAC Nathan and Chandler facilities. You will be responsible for provision of support to drive exceptional High-Performance outcomes for Para sport athletes in these programs. Travel in the role to support events both Nationally and Internationally may be possible.

The proposed contracts are for an initial term from earlyMach 2025 to 28 February 2027, with an option to extend for a further 2 years till 28 February 2029 at the discretion of QAS.
