Description
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider for the provision of Secure Offsite Storage for DFAT Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment.
The scope of the Commonwealth’s requirement is that DFAT requires secure offsite storage that is:
- within 30 minutes delivery time to DFAT buildings in Barton, ACT;
- in a secure location;
- physically secured (lockable) and monitored;
- has controlled access;
- is clean and fire protected; and
- provides a logistics management area.
DFAT's ICT equipment is to be stored in a cost-effective, secure manner, which ensures that the equipment is not damaged. Items stored are to be easily identified and located by DFAT and Contractor personal.
DFAT may during the term of the agreement increase or reduce its storage requirements for ICT equipment. The Contractor will be required to provide additional storage space as required by DFAT.
A transition period of one month is included in the requirements to transition from the current service provide to the successful tenderer.
