Description of the goods and services to be provided
The contract is for the provision of a multi-year software license for the PLEXOS energy market simulation platform. This software will be used by the Data & Analytics (ED&A) branch to support long-term electricity market modelling and forecasting. The platform enables simulation of the National Electricity Market (NEM), including capacity expansion, dispatch modelling, and integration with AEMOs Integrated System Plan (ISP) datasets. The solution includes cloud and on-premise components, technical support, software updates, and access to learning resources.
