Strategic Evaluation of the Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT)
Details
Description
The Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT), or Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (2017-2026), is a partnership between the Government of Indonesia (GOI) and the Government of Australia (GOA) to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth through improved access to infrastructure for all. KIAT Phase 1 ran from February 2016 to 30 June 2021 and was extended to 30 June 2022 due to COVID-19 and to allow for a Mid-Term Review (MTR). Phase 2 runs from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2026.
Approaching the final implementation year of KIAT Phase 2, a Strategic Evaluation of KIAT is required to help DFAT to generate credible evidence and analysis to assess KIAT’s performance, draw out strategic lesson learned and good practices, and provide recommendations to inform Australia’s development program in Indonesia. The Strategic Evaluation will draw on but remain independent from the KIAT’s Mid-Term Review and KIAT-led assessments from Phase 2.
