Description
The Queensland Government is seeking tenders to undertake the reconstruction of the Colmslie Boat Ramp and the replacement of the floating walkway.
The major work items include:
- Removal and offsite disposal of existing floating walkway modules, piles and abutment.
- Earthworks – excavation for shoulder footings and construction of the crushed rock core.
- Design, fabrication and construction of the floating walkway (including the floating walkway
- support lane and abutment).
- Supply and placement of Type RG4000 precast ramp planks for two (2) boat ramp lanes.
- Placement of three (3) Principal supplied Type T4000 precast ramp (terminator) planks.
- Supply and placement of grouted scour protection at the toe of the ramp.
- Construction of cast insitu concrete connecting slab and plank connection.
- Construction of fully grouted rock shoulders and ungrouted rock shoulders.
