Fremantle Hospital O and Q Block Tunnel Rectification

Description of Works: A section of ceiling in Fremantle Hospital’s service tunnel, between O-block and Q-block, requires removal and reinstatement. This RFQ is seeking a price for all works associated, inclusive of building and plumbing works. Scope of works inclusions: Rectification of tunnel ceiling in accordance with the recommendations of the Structural Engineer (Attachment 1) including the lowering of services in the service tunnel ensuring little to no impact on site operations Installation of a concrete culvert for steam condensate pipework in accordance with the recommendations of the Structural Engineer (Attachment 2) Removal and reinstatement (redirection) of steam condensate and stormwater pipework to enable access to the tunnel ceiling from above Provision and installation of a trafficable pit cover for the steam blowdown pit. Scope of works exclusions: Reinstatement of bitumenRemoval and reinstatement of earthing cable from above the tunnel (to be provided by the hospital’s electrical contractor) – these works will need to be accommodated by the building contractor.
