Description
As the recently completed Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC) permanently reduced the original carpark space by over 50 bays, the Public Transport Centre (PTC) – Secure Car Park Project has the primary objective to achieve a functional design then construct a new secure carpark for the Public Transport Authority (PTA)’s fleet vehicle. The location beside the TransWA Depot has been identified as a dedicated area between two track lines, the regional Indian-Pacific and the urban, electrified (OLE) Midland/Airport Line. The southern side of the area is hugged by the Principal Shared Path beside the Graham Farmer Fwy slip road heading to East Parade. On the east side is the Tunnel dive structure runs to Claisebrook. The PTA requires the services of a qualified and experienced designer to carry out the design works for crossing fleet vehicles over two tracks and car park design.
