Visual Data Analysis Software to Support Professional Standards Intelligence and Investigations

An analytical software platform designed for intelligence analysts and investigators. The software should provide tools for visualizing and analysing complex datasets involving entities, relationships, timelines, and geospatial elements, and support structured link analysis, pattern detection, and case management. Required functions include data modelling and visualization, data integration and management, analytical tools, collaboration, and reporting capabilities. Specific features include multi-layered node and edge visualization, ingestion of structured and semi-structured data (CSV, XML, JSON, database connections, APIs), role-based access controls, audit trails, and seamless export to popular document formats (PDF, image formats, Microsoft Office suite compatibility). In particular the software should be able to easily integrate data from Communities’ integrity case management and database software, iBase. The software should also support Professional Standards’ role in supporting WA Police Force in investigations and prosecutions by producing consistent and compatible intelligence products.
