The Planning Council intends to appoint a number of preferred suppliers in a range of fields under a panel contract arrangement to assist the Planning Council with meeting its responsibilities.

The fields include:  General Accounting and Economic Advice  Corporate profile/public relations/publications/media management  Crisis/risk management  Electricity market modelling  Engineering advice  Load forecasting/growth  Network modelling and simulation  Transmission/distribution network analysis. The Planning Council is not seeking a single supplier to provide all of the above services. It is anticipated that a number of suppliers within each field could be appointed. The period of the panel contract would be for a term of up to two years.
