Request for Tender - For Principal Design Consultant and Superintendent, Collingwood Campus Redevelopment Project

This Request for Tender (RFT) is for the provision of Principal Design Consultant and Superintendent (PDCS) services for the Collingwood Campus Redevelopment Project.

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to engage a Proponent to provide all of the necessary materials, equipment and labour to provide the architectural, design and superintendent services for the Project described herein.

Melbourne Polytechnic is proposing to renovate, upgrade and modernise its Collingwood campus at 20 Otter Street, Collingwood, VIC 3066 which includes renovating the existing eight-storey building adding one or more new buildings on available land within the campus.

The Project is expected to proceed in March of 2021, with an overall maximum budget of AUD $40 million, inclusive of all design fees, construction, fit-out costs and including all contingencies.

• design is expected to start in March 2021;
• the RFT process for construction works to start in the second half of 2021; and
• full use of Collingwood Campus by the start of Term 1 of the 2024 school year.
