CaLD COMMUNITY SERVICES UNDER THE ETHNIC ORGANISATIONS FUND 2012-2015

The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) is a division of the Department of Local Government. OMI supports the development of State Government policies and programs to promote multiculturalism and improve services to Western Australians from diverse cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds. The Ethnic Organisations Fund was established in 2009 and aims to support the OMI Strategic Plan 2009–13 and organisations specifically formed to deliver services to culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities.

In the 2012-2015 funding round, ethnic organisations are invited to make an Offer that meets one of the objectives and one of the priority areas identified within the Request for Service. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of the extent to which the Offer, in its entirety, provides value for money to the State Party (Department of Local Government, Office of Multicultural Interests). The funding available for each service is between $50,000 and $100,000 per annum.
