Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources
Digital tools for supply chain mapping and analytics
Details
Description
OSCR's analytical capability has extended the methods piloted by the Productivity Commission in its Vulnerable Supply Chains Report. We are now seeking to complement our existing capability with a data driven supply chain tool that can be used to map multi-tiered supply chains critical to Australia's national security, economic stability and health and well-being.
The successful Tenderer's solution will draw upon private and/or open-source data sets to support live and ongoing monitoring of supply chains critical to Australia's national interest. The solution will provide the Department with access to digital tools that enable:
(a) n-tier visibility of supply chains of key products and/or businesses critical to Australia's national interest, bids will be assessed based the number of products, businesses, and supply chain tiers covered by their solution.
(b) rapid mapping/modelling and/or visualisation of these supply chains, and
(c) detection of emerging supply chain vulnerabilities earlier than is otherwise possible through the analysis of international trade statistics.
