Replacement of 'PV Freycinet' Tasmania Police have a fleet of some 38 vessels, ranging from ocean going vessels, capable of operating in waters up to 200 nautical miles, to small inflatable vessels for inland lakes and rivers. These vessels are located at strategic locations around the State. There is an urgent need to replace the PV Freycinet as this vessel is 27 years old.
