SA Department for Environment and Water
Cleaning and maintenance of AMLR Water Management Services assets
Details
Description
Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges (AMLR) Natural Resources Management (NRM) Board works to manage, protect and, in some cases, restore the region's precious natural resources. These services are part of the AMLR Water Management Services program to improve water quality in our streams and rivers and along our coast. Gross Pollutant Traps (GPT) are presently one of the tools used, along with other catchment management initiatives including the installation of fishways and the clean-up of urban watercourses from general rubbish, debris and weeds. The AMLR NRM Board have numerous GPT and fishway assets throughout the Torrens and Patawalonga catchments. It is important that these assets are maintained to ensure ongoing performance, protect past investment and maximise NRM outcomes. This Services Contract is for the cleaning and maintenance of these AMLR Water Management Services assets and also includes provision to undertake some general urban watercourse clean-up.
