Description
The Department for Water (DFW) is undertaking Riverine Recovery Project (RRP) Early On-ground Works under the Murray Futures Program funded predominantly by the Australian Government.
The RRP Early On-ground Works package includes a number of components and will deliver substantial environmental benefits to the selected sites at Pike floodplain, Katfish Reach and Yatco Lagoon (at Moorook).
This tender is in relation to the provision of water control infrastructure at Katfish Reach to enhance floodplain flow and fish passage connectivity and at Yatco to introduce wetting and drying of the lagoons. The work involves the detailed design and construction of earthen channels, culvert structures and water regulating infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed within this financial year (2011/12).
