Replacement and Repairs to Heritage Landing - Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park
Details
Description
The works are in a remote and isolated area on the banks of the lower Gordon River at Heritage Landing. The area is inside the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area and Heritage Landing site is used extensively by commercial tourist ferry operators in conducting Gordon River tours from Strahan.
An engineering assessment of the Heritage Landing jetty and boardwalks has identified four major parts that require replacement and/or repairs. This tender involves works to Parts A and C as scoped and specified by Parks and Wildlife Service consulting engineers.
