Maintenance Support Services for the Sustainment of the Configuration Management Tool (CMT)

Defence is seeking to engage a contractor to provide Maintenance Support Services (MSS) for the sustainment of its Configuration Management Tool (CMT) application.

Teamcenter is known as CMT within Defence and CMT is currently an “In Service” system and there are 5 distinct applications that provide the services as follows:
a. CMT-Land (CMT-L);
b. CMT-Maritime (CMT-M);
c. CMT-Surveillance (CMT-S);
d. CMT-Explosives (CMT-E); and
e. CMT-Unified (CMT-U).

Teamcenter is a suite of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) computer software applications. PLM is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies.

CMT provides the following core functions to Defence:

a.Configuration Management;

b.Configuration Change Control;

c.Configuration Status Accounting;

d.Maintain Configuration Baseline Data; and

e.Configuration Audit.
