Description
The National Wine Centre of Australia will be a major tourist attraction, education centre and industry facility fir Australia’s grown wine and tourism industries. The National Wine Centre of Australia is a Statutory Authority of the South Australian Government. The Centre has a wine industry representative Board with representatives from the four major wine producing States of Australia. The National Wine Centre stakeholders, (South Australian Government, Federal Government, through the Centenary of Federation and the Australian wine industry) want to ensure the Centre meets the project objectives and the communications strategy is an integral part of this process. The Board of the National Wine Centre of Australia is seeking to appoint an agency to undertake communications and public relations. Proposals are sought from agencies to undertake this task. Detailed proposals are sought to provide the following services: Develop a communications strategy Develop a positioning statement Management of media and public Interest Assist with the development and implementation of the marketing strategy Assist in seeking and servicing sponsorship Essential Criteria Understanding of tourism and wine industries Strong state and national media networks Demonstrated creativity in development of media and communications strategies Understanding of South Australian political environment Experience in public relations management of high profile and national events or venues Adequate resources National affiliation in all mainland State capitals Desirable Criteria Demonstrable skills and experience in strategic development and positioning Strong multi-media skills International media networks International affiliation Organisations that meet the above criteria and wish to submit a proposal should contact Susan Jenner, Marketing Coordinator for a project brief [phone hidden] or [email hidden] Detailed proposals must be submitted by 5pm Monday 6 November 2000.
