Panel Contract for the Provision of Electrical Maintenance Services

The PTA (Public Transport Authority) of Western Australia operates a railway network which includes seventy (70) rail stations throughout suburban Perth.

The network is continuously growing to accommodate Perth increasing population. With a number of projects currently under way (Car Park expansion, Station Upgrade, new train stations) and few projects proposed, the demand for maintenance and minor electrical project related works is expected to increase.

To meet this ad-hoc maintenance and minor construction requirement, it is PTA’s intent to establish a Panel Contract of contractors for its Electrical Services area who will be able to help meet PTA’s day-to-day electrical maintenance and minor construction needs.

The PTA will appoint up to three successful Tenderers to the Panel Contract as the preferred providers for the electrical maintenance and construction work covered in this Request for Tender. PTA will access the Contract for various electrical work activities within a combination of an “as and when” required arrangement (ad hoc) and quotations if the required work is outside the scope of the Contract or contains high technical components. Requirements with an estimated total contract value of $150,000 or greater will be called by public tender
