Description
The Engagement and Wellbeing Directorate of the Department for Education South Australia is seeking to establish a preferred ‘open’ multi-use list of providers of external mental health and wellbeing programs. Wellbeing programs cover social and emotional learning skills, general wellbeing, mental health and health promotion topics.
The scope of the programs is Tier 1 (to all students) and Tier 2 (to a targeted group based on need). It does not include one-off guest speakers, wellbeing apps or therapeutic interventions for an individual child (Tier 3 interventions).
Approved programs will be included on an internal departmental directory that South Australian government schools can access when seeking a program from an external provider to meet the needs of their students. Inclusion on the directory does not guarantee the program will be selected for use as this decision will be made by each school.
Note: This directory is only for South Australian government schools.
