Laboratory Services - SGW - EGW - WPW

South Gippsland Water (SGW), East Gippsland Water (EGW) and Westernport Water (WPW) (the Organisations) are state-owned water utilities, supplying water and sewerage services to the Gippsland community. Servicing townships across Gippsland and Bass Coast regions, the Corporations aims to provide quality water services and play an essential role in the prosperity and wellbeing of our communities and environment.

The Organisations are seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of providing laboratory Services (Water testing and reporting) as detailed in the attached scope of works / specifications which can be found in Part D.

Note: (Marketing Material will not be accepted).

The number of different bacterial / toxins that may be required to be tested for is in excess of three hundred and eighty, bidders are to confirm all tests that they cannot provide.

Scope of work Overview

This scope of work has been developed with the collaboration of the three (3) agencies listed above. The scope is designed with the objective to have one bespoke scope across the three agencies that will provide consistent reporting, pricing and quality of deliverables.

This tender is for testing and analysing all fresh and wastewater scheduled and ad hoc, dependent on individual agency requirements or due unforeseen emergencies.

Only suppliers who are qualified and are registered to perform this work will be considered. Suppliers will be required to provide evidence on their infrastructure and resources to perform these services across the three regions.

Systems/ reporting

Due to the critical nature automated measuring and reporting systems will be well regarded and bidders are encouraged to focus on their ability to providing prompt and accurate reporting.
