The direct sourcing contract requires the update of an existing environment assessment model that CSIRO developed in 2020 for monitoring water quality in Macquarie Harbour.
The model will inform regulatory decisions relating to the management of salmon farming, in particular regard to the conservation and species recovery efforts for the endangered Maugean Skate
