Under the Request, the Department of Health, PathWest (the Customer) seeks suitably skilled and experienced companies to propose a proven and demonstrable "off the shelf" Laboratory Information System (LIS) to replace its current Cirdan ULTRA Clinical Pathology system, an in-house Anatomical Pathology system and the 4 databases currently used by the Department of Molecular Genomics.
The preference of the Customer is for the provision of a single LIS that provides both clinical and anatomical funtionality and meets all of the Request requirements. The Customer will also consider the procurement of seperate "off the shelf" clinical and anatomical systems, providing a single contract is formed with the Respondent.
