Description

The Commonwealth seeks to form a Panel of members capable of supplying their own vehicles with trailers (of various sizes and capabilities) in order to facilitate movements of cargo mostly consisting of ADF vehicles, stores and equipment. Additionally the Commonwealth seeks companies to be on the Panel which can provide their own coaches for movement of passengers over longer distances.

Contractors engaged under the Panel would normally move small and large volumes of Commonwealth and ADF passengers, stores and equipment by road in the eastern half of Australia with a low probability of tasking overseas. Movements performed for the ADF are generally in support of annual or biennial military exercises and operations and will be predominantly between military bases and exercise areas.

Work performed for other Commonwealth Agencies is likely to be on an ad-hoc basis.
