It is proposed for this project to be delivered through two phases of research (one qualitative, one quantitative) focused on apartment building owners. The aim is to investigate their decision-making processes and attitudes towards investments in deep building upgrades, how this is affected by access to the buildings NABERS rating and how to enable their access to a NABERS rating through mandatory disclosure.
