Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Amenities Refurbishment at Wamuran SS, located at 1066-1086 D'Aguilar Highway, Wamuran QLD 4512, as part of the Targeted (TARGETED) program.
The area of works is a refurbishment to an existing amenities block. The works involve demolition of all internal fixtures, fittings, high level windows and linings. The refurbishment includes new student amenities and wash basins and two new staff ambulant amenities. The position of the building is at the front of the school with good site access and working space. All works are to be completed by March 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
