Biggera Creek Dredging and Beach Nourishment 2015

The Gold Coast Waterways Authroity is seeks tenders from suitably qualified dredging companies to undertake dredging and beach nourishment works are Biggera Creek, Biggera Waters, Gold Coast Broadwater.

The major items included in the Works are as follows:

1. Undertake dredging to Biggera Creek within the limits as defined on the drawings (Dredge Zone ‘A2’ and Dredge Zone ‘B’).
2. Transport and dispose the dredged material by pipeline to either of the defined Nourishment Areas ('Nourishment Area A – Biggera Creek Nourishment Area' and 'Nourishment Area B – Broadwater Nourishment Area').
3. Undertake all environmental management activities required under the Dredge Material Management and Placement Plan (DMMPP) and Operational Dredge Management Plan.
