Description
The project involves the installation of new fencing works at RAAF Base Laverton, RAAF Williams Point Cook Base, HMAS Cerberus and Ringwood East Depot.
The works include but not limited to:
RAAF Laverton, Laverton:
• Hardening of perimeter security by installing Class 2 boundary security fence (to match existing fence), aligned north and south of the western access gate. Removal of existing boundary security fence; and
• Replace existing timber fencing and install new security fencing along portion of eastern boundary. Replace existing security fencing on southern boundary.
RAAF Williams Point Cook Base:
• Replace / install new security fencing along portion of eastern boundary.
HMAS Cerberus:
• Hardening of perimeter security by installing Class 2 boundary security fence (to match existing fence), aligned north and south of the western access gate. Removal of existing boundary security fence.
Ringwood East Depot:
• Construction of new fence line using 2.6 m cyclone mesh fence and additional fence on Dublin Road frontage.
