Corinda SS - Amenities Refurbishment (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the refurbishment to the amenities at Corinda State School, located at 330 Cliveden Ave, Corinda QLD 4075, as part of the Amenites Renewal program.

The scope includes refurbishments to the junior and seniors toilets, staff facilites and PWD toilets. Please note that works are to be completed in a staged approach – Separable portion 1: Junior Amenites and Separable portion 2: Senior Amenites, staff facilities and PWD toilets. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. Works are to commence in January 2022 and be completed by the end of March 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
