Caloundra State High School - External Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the External Refurbishment at Caloundra SHS , locatedat 88 Queen Street, Caloundra QLD 4551, as part of the Targeted program.

The scope includes the external painting of four (4No.) learing blocks including lead based paint removal to one of the learning blocks, replacing existing flashings, downpipes and repair wall linings. The position of the buildings are at the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1Mil

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
