Description

Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ) is a Queensland Statutory Authority, which has a need to exchange information with a range of external parties on a daily basis, in the routine operation of its business. A significant portion of this information is electronic in its form and is therefore capable of being exchanged through electronic transmission and reception.

LAQ is seeking Proposals for a secure and efficient document sharing platform to enable staff to share multiple documents easily and securely, eliminating the need to split files across multiple emails or risk losing information through a USB device. The platform would provide robust security features, including encryption and access controls, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of shared documents.

Key business outcomes include:

  1. Eliminate the cumbersome inefficiencies of multiple emails, large files and swapping USBs.
  2. Lower the security risks in sharing sensitive documents.
  3. Early widespread adoption through efficient training.
  4. Improvement to LAQ’s reputation among external stakeholders through enhanced processes which reduce delays to sharing documents.
