Resnagging & Timber Installation – Resnagging Works for Darling – Baaka – Bourke to Louth under the Commonwealth Environmental Activities Fund - CAN-P24-8102

A project to be undertaken

The work included in this Contract comprises the provision of all plant, labour, and consumables of whatever kind necessary for the installation of Large Woody Habitats (LWH) at 35 locations in the Darling-Baaka River between Bourke and Louth, NSW. On-ground work includes but is not limited to: Loading, transporting, unloading and stockpiling LWH from Principal’s storage facility at located approximately 30 km south of Louth on the Cobar-Louth RdImproving existing paddock tracks for truck/machinery access to resnagging sites including minor vegetation and ground disturbance (as required)Establishing new paddock access tracks for truck/machinery access to resnagging sites, timber stockpile and machinery staging sites, turn-arounds and other access requirements (as required)Constructing access from top of riverbank down to low-level benches, and operating pads on low-level benches, including vegetation removal and ground disturbanceInstalling LWH in the main channel of the Darling-Baaka RiverSite rehabilitation of disturbance areas including channel access point with sterile rye grass and scattered timber to impede stock and overland flow, as required on completion of worksDocumentation of installation works is required to be completed using the smartphone-compatible ArcGIS application Survey123. The Principal will provide the successful tenderer with access to the required electronic forms.
