An E-Beam Metal Evaporator is required by the School of Mathematics and Physics to deposit thin metal films of high purity and density. This machine will provide UQ-based researchers with cutting-edge capabilities in fabrication of a wide angle of electronic integrated circuits that incorporate Josephson junctions and require electrical interlayer connections.
