Paddocks Netball Courts Design and Construction

The City of Salisbury (the Council) invites Tenders for the provision of design services and construction works required for the Paddocks Netball Courts Design and Construction project (the Works).

The scope of works includes the design and construction of four tennis courts in Park 2. It is expected the works will include, but is not limited to;

• Design of 4 new netball courts, inclusive of back stop fencing, line marking, netball towers (6 x fixed and 2 x adjustable)

• Pavement design to suit the soil conditions of the site and longevity of the courts, including any survey and geotechnical testing required. Note: Survey would be provided, however, contractors will still require to do their own investigations to ensure accuracy.

• Drainage design to ensure ponding doesn’t occur with connection to underground stormwater system.

• Lighting and electrical design to fully light the courts suitable for training and competition.

• Design of associated footpaths, shelters, outdoor furniture, drinking fountain, bike racks.

• Any and all approvals necessary to complete the works, including peer review by Netball Australia and

• All construction works associated with the scope.

• Be compliant with Netball Australia requirements for Club/Recreation courts; Netball Australia: Technical Manual and any relevant Australian Standards.

• Provide a new asset which represents the best value for money

• Deliver the project within the nominated timeframes.

• Provision of asset handover data including survey and operation/maintenance manuals.
