The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is seeking offers for the supply, installation and commissioning of one (1) Electroencephalography (EEG) System with optional service and maintenance for the Neurology Department, Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).
RPH Neurology conducts several different types of EEGs, such as:
- standard EEG or sleep deprived EEG;
- ambulatory EEG, which involves wearing a portable EEG recorder on a belt around the patients’ waist for several days; and
- video EEG monitoring for patients with frequent seizures or sleep disorders (narcolepsy). The patient stays in a day unit or on the ward at RPH and is monitored both by EEG and video camera.
EMHS has identified a requirement to replace the existing EEG system which has reached the end of its product life.
The Head Agreement established by this Request will constitute a standing offer, whereby the Customer can place orders for associated accessories and/or service and maintenance options offered on an as required basis during the term of the Head Agreement.
