Landscaping Services for Stations

The Public Transport Authority established a panel contract for the provision of carpentry, landscaping, plumbing, reticulation, graffiti removal and air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance, repairs and small works in June 2006 for a five (5) year contract period expiring in June 2011 with one contractor appointed per service category. Due to the expansion of the urban rail network with the commissioning of the Mandurah line in December 2007 and the current market demand for tradepersons, it has become necessary to expand the number of available contractors to perform the required level of work under the service categories to ensure the required level and response times of services are achieved. The new Contract established as a result of this Request for Tender will be in place for a period of one (1) year with options to extend the Contracts for a further two (2) periods of one (1) year each with contract expiry aligned to the current maintenance contracts. Previous categories have been awarded under Panel Contract T35/08 The Provision of Maintenance, Repairs and Small Works on the urban Rail Network. The Landscaping category has been re-tendered due to the changes in the Scope to remove work on the rail reserve for this Contract. This Contract, once awarded will be included on Contract panel T35/08.
